Off Course
During the ownership in Finland the yacht has been optimized for race sailing. It has always been a top competitor in the Finnish ranking series. All critical bottom parts have been renewed in 1989, the deck with top freeboard planks and Harken hardware have been renewed in 2000. The rig is from 2004 and there are more than 15 sails for different wind conditons less than 10 years old.
Price in ready to race condition in Helsinki is 75.000 Euro.
At the moment the yacht is located at HSK in Lauttasaari, Helsinki and it will be launched during May.

Kaitsu preparing the deck
20.5.2011 Springtime works on the yacht are up to speed. Bottom has been prepared and the deck will be lacquered on Sunday 22nd.
14.8.2010 Viaporin Tuoppi - biggest annual wooden sail boat happening in Helsinki organized by SuPS. "Off Course" won the 6mR class and celebrated also her 70th birthday.

6.-8.8.2010 6mR Class Championships at SuPS - with a record number of 22
sixes attending. "Off Course" races with Kalle Pihl as skipper and
finishes 8th which means 4th position in the 2010 6mR- total ranking.
Rest of the team: Johan "Juppe" Ehrnrooth, Jonne Pettersson,
Mika Rauhala, Eku Lähteenmäki. After the race "Off Course" stays at
Suomenlinna harbour to next weekend.

5.8.2010 After a short summer pause it is time for the 6mR Nationals organized by SuPS at Suomenlinna. On Thursday night before the race "Off Course" was towed to Suomenlinna by Kalle Pihl, Mika Rauhala and Eku.
10.-11.7.2010 Direct after the last race in Hanko on Saturday Kaj equipped the yacht with food and beer and started his trip from Hanko to Helsinki alone. First day he managed to sail to Barösund also using the spinnaker. On Sunday "Off Course" arrived to Helsinki.
8.-10.7.2010 The traditional Hanko Regatta first time organized with two starts per day. This year in good summer winds with no delays because of the light wind. Pekka Barck as guest star onboard on Thursday and Saturday to party in Hanko with his old sail- mates before moving to Singapore. Other sailors in the team during the weekend Mika Rauhala, Micki Honka- vaara, Kalle Pihl, Kaj end Eku.
Before the last start on Saturday "Off Course" was in good positions to reach third position, but an "OCS" dropped the yacht to a 5th position, 1 point after Alibaba II.
